Who I am

My name is Dan Semenuk, and I’m a Holistic Nutritionist who believes that true healing begins with understanding — both of the body and of the self!

My own journey into holistic health began years ago, through a personal search for vitality, balance, and purpose. Like many of my clients, I’ve faced moments of depletion, disconnection, and the need to realign. Along the way, I discovered that healing is not a quick fix — it’s a layered, evolving process that blends science, lifestyle, nature, and self-awareness.

Before becoming a holistic nutritionist, I spent over 15 years working in the field of Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation as a therapist. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and my work has always centered around human potential — how we recover, adapt, and ultimately thrive.

My approach today draws from both modern nutritional science and ancient insight like Stoicism & Buddhism. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I believe in getting to know you well — your story, your habits, your health history — and then working together to uncover the root causes of what’s holding you back.

Whether it’s through whole foods, targeted supplements (because let’s be honest — diet alone isn’t always enough), lifestyle shifts, and a bit of detective work, my aim is to help you reconnect with your vitality and live a life that feels grounded, energized, and authentic.

Outside of clinical work, I’m a father, a nature-lover, and someone who recharges on forest trails, in deep conversation, and through movement. I enjoy hiking, lifting weights, studying herbal medicine, and making space for the small, daily rituals that support a good life.

If you're ready to explore a more integrated and empowered approach to your health — I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
